The Bruins have a great chance to improve for the future.  They acquired Bill Guerin in 2000-01 and he was a huge hit, and was voted the MVP of the 2001 All-Star Game.  He is joined by talented Joe Thornton and Jason Allison, two very dangerous centers.  Midway through the 2000-01 season, they fired Pat Burns and hired Robbie Ftorek as their new head coach.  Robbie previously coached the Devils and Kings.  Kyle McLaren and Hal Gill are developing into tough, solid defense.  The goaltending woes for the Bruins may be over if John Grahame can stay injury-free and Dafoe has a good year; Andrew Raycroft will also fight for a goaltending spot this season.

I made this index card, picturing both John and Ron Grahame.  I sent it to John c/o Boston asking him to sign it, and I was surprised to get it back with both of their signatures! Both Ron and John Grahame played goal for the Boston Bruins; Ron in 1977-78 and John from 1999-present.
