The Flames are a team that has always been stacked with young talent.  However, GM Craig Button has given the roster a facelift during the 2001 offseason.  They've gotten rid of Valeri Bure, Fred Brathwaite, and some of their younger players (Tkaczuk, Varlamov) but in return they've gotten some more experienced players, like Rob Niedermayer, Roman Turek, Dean McAmmond, and Craig Conroy.  They haven't made the playoffs since 1996, but with this new lineup they have a chance to do that.  Calgary is also one of the best signing teams in the league.  Their players always sign up a storm every time they pass through San Jose.
