The Coyotes have changed rapidly since their arrival in Phoenix in 1996.  Superstars Jeremy Roenick, Keith Tkachuk, and Nikolai Khabibulin were great with the 'yotes but they all moved on.  Over the course of the 2000-01 season, there were several major trades that the Coyotes made; Khabby ends his holdout with Phoenix by being packaged up with Juha Ylonen and Stan Neckar and shipped off to Tampa for Mike Johnson and Paul Mara.  By the end of the season and in the summer, the roster looks very different.  Oh, yeah, and they got a new ownership group, of which Wayne Gretzky is a part of.  Phoenix is a very different team than it was a couple of seasons ago, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.  They now have a nearly solid mix of youth (Bouck, Mara, Vaananen) and experience (Lemieux, Burke, Numminen).
