Like many of the super-power teams of the Western Conference, the Blues have undergone tons of personnel changes..  They traded promising youngsters Marty Reasoner, Jochen Hecht, and Ladislav Nagy, as well as blossoming defensive forward Michal Handzus and Vezina runner-up Roman Turek.  Heck, they even traded team centerpiece Pierre Turgeon!  The new cast for 2001-02 includes Fred Brathwaite, Doug Weight, Mike Keane, Cory Stillman, Scott Mellanby, Richard Pilon, Daniel Tkaczuk, Keith Tkachuk, and Sergei Varlamov.  The Blues have been one of the elite teams in the Western Conference.  However, they haven't made it to the final round of the playoffs since 1970.  But with this new roster with new superstars, the possibility is stronger than ever.
