Linden, Nystrom, Robert, Theodore Postmarked from: Drummondville, Quebec Trade confirmed: August 27, 2000 Received: September 2, 2000 Duration: 6 days Comments:  Martin Charpentier sent me a whole bunch of cards, and I sent him a whole bunch in return.  The trade involved 20 cards, one of which will be coming in the mail in mid-September.  Here is the list of items I received in this trade... - Daniel ALFREDSSON: 99-00 O-Pee-Chee - Jean BELIVEAU: 96 Duracell - Jay BOUWMEESTER: Printed picture, trading card size - Anders HEDBERG: 83-84 OPC - Jarome IGINLA: 99-00 Dynagon Ice - Trevor LINDEN: 97-98 Score - Bob NYSTROM: 81-82 OPC - Rene ROBERT: 75-76 OPC - Jose THEODORE: 96-97 Skybox Impact An additional card will be coming in the future from Martin; I had originally agreed to also receive a Ron Hextall autograph, but it was already traded away.  I will pick another card to complete this 20-card trade.  Thanks to Martin for a great trade!

Acquired in trade from: Arthur Chan Postmarked from: Oakland, CA Trade confirmed: August 21, 2000 Received: August 22, 2000 Duration: 1 day Comments: Wow, that was quick, the quickest trade by mail I've seen.  It helps when the person you're mailing to lives only 25 miles away!  Art Chan of Fremont traded me this great Rob Zamuner autograph for an Andy Sutton signature.  Not too bad, probably my best quality Zamuner sig that I have.

Acquired in trade from: Dave Donohue Postmarked from: Ottawa, ON Trade confirmed: July 1, 2000 Received: July 8, 2000 Comments:  Sami Salo is an improving defenseman with the Sens, and Ottawa fan Dave Donohue traded this signature from Upper Deck MVP for a Mike Ricci.  Great job, and as Dave promised, the cards arrived one week after he mailed them!

Acquired in trade from: Mark Neufeld Postmarked from: Niagara On The Lake, ON Trade confirmed: June 7, 2000 Received: June 14, 2000 Comments:  This sure helped my set grow!  Two stars and two rookies.  All four cards are shown here.  Pretty good mailing time from Canada.  Nice work by Mark!  It seems all of them were obtained by mail some time or another.  And this will help me so now I can give Allison or Niedermayer a worthwhile item to sign in person!

Acquired in trade from: Shelley McCubbin Postmarked from: Blue Springs, MO Trade confirmed: June 4, 2000 Received: June 9, 2000 Comments: The first three-card deal, I sent Shelley two autographs and an insert card for the Lindros and Jones for my MVP set, and Mike Richter from UD Choice.  Not too bad.  All the autographs are pretty good, and the Eric Lindros for my MVP set means there's no more Big E stuff to get signed in my sets.  Good work by Shelley!  This trade is the first big trade I've done.  Coming up soon is a trade with Mark Neufeld involving four cards going each way.

Acquired in trade from: Mark Kohn Postmarked from: Johnson City, NY Trade confirmed: May 8, 2000 Received: May 22, 2000 Comments: I traded an extra 99-00 MVP I had of Marco Sturm to get an extra that Mark had of Kevin Hodson.  We can only trade extras, since we collect the same set!  The reply was sort of long, but I don't care, since I know that my stuff takes a little while to get there.

Acquired in trade from: Andre Andrijiw Postmarked from: Toronto, ON Trade confirmed: May 13, 2000 Received: May 22, 2000 Comments: Before I confirmed the trade, Andre warned that this autograph is choppy.  After I got it, yes, I did see a bit of streaking and fading in the signature, but nothing really all that bad.  Ron Tugnutt has taken Tom Barrasso's place in Pittsburgh, and he hasn't been a Tom Barrasso autograph-wise.

Acquired in trade from: Brent Griffin Postmarked from: Calgary, AB Trade confirmed: May 13, 2000 Received: May 19, 2000 Time it took:  6 days Comments: Brent traded me this Norwegian cup-of-latte NHLer.  "Nuts" was drafted early in 97, but disappeared from North America.  I traded Jeff Friesen for this no-namer.  Pocket schedules were also exchanged.  If Espen wasn't in my set, I would not trade for him.
