Welcome to the Current and Former Sharks gallery! The Sharks are my hometown team that I love to root for! When I first took interest in hockey in the spring of 1994, the Sharks were on their way up, and they had tons of underrated yet effective players. The team captured the attention of Bay Area sports enthusiasts by scoring a couple of major upsets in the 94 and 95 playoffs. After a couple off-years (95-97), the team was consistently good under Darryl Sutter until recently when he was let go. Owen Nolan, Jeff Friesen, Marco Sturm, Temmu Selanne, Mike Vernon, Steve Shields, Evgeni Nabokov, Mike Ricci, and Brad Stuart are some of my favorites from the Sutter era. "THE WALL"
The focal point of my Sharks collection is a selection
of framed autographed photos on the wall in my room. Right now
there are 25 Sharks photos up there; I've got all of the recent Sharks up there
except for some of the new guys from the "post-Lombardi era." I haven't put very many of the Former Sharks photos up on the wall

Card Collection
Another thing I do is get current and former Sharks players on cards, if I can't
find photos of them. Of course, I prefer cards picturing them with the
Sharks, but if that's not
possible, then any card will do. Currently I have 106
different current and former Sharks players signed on cards!
In the table below, the "Seasons in San Jose" format is: 97 = the
97-98 season, and so on, I just use the first year in the season. The
players' totals in the Games Played (for the Sharks) total does not count games played in
2003-04.
